The window on the left is an internal one, between the Chancel and the vestry. Although it is hard to distinguish them, this contains the badges of John Rowe and Mark Antony Lower. The others are on the north side of the church and are a nice contrast to the ornate stained glass windows around the rest of the church.

This is an interesting scene. I have never seen a portrayal of a saint in their childhood, before they reached the role for which they became known and their saintliness developed. There are one or two, like Saint Pancras who was martyred while still young. I suppose this is more about Saint Anne's position as mother of Mary.

1929 was not a good year for the Diocese of Chichester. A new Bishop of Lewes took up his post on 25th of January. On 13th February the Diocesan Bishop of Chichester died, followed two days later by the new Bishop of Lewes.
