In this mixed flock of birds down by the Cuckmere River, the outstanding members for me are the Curlews. I have never seen more than two or three at a time here or at Tidemills. Here there seem to be 15 -20. I didn't realise the make-up of the group until I enlarged the shot on the computer.
I have yet to identify the goose on the left. Although it might be glare, the wings, when open, seem to have large white areas on the outer halves of each wing and there looks to be a white band across the breast. Its legs have a pink or orange colouration.
