Eppynt Hill & Beulah Speckled Face sheep on Seaford Head. This is a hardy Welsh upland breed of sheep, identifiable by their speckled faces and legs.

A well-spotted diagonal leads the eyes into the distance.

I think that I select versions from the series of photos I take, on the basis of how attractive they look, without analysing the way the composition works. I have never been able to paint or draw a well composed picture, but can select the best of a bunch of photos, without appreciating what it is that makes it appealing. So it is enlightening when you identify that. Thank you, John.
