Our little town has no shops on the seafront. It has two refreshment kiosks, two ice-cream vans and sometimes a crepe stall. There is also a museum in a Martello Tower! These huts have been the first non-food shops.

Do people on your side of the sea only go to the beach at certain times of the day? This beach at De Panne was deserted in the morning when these photos were taken - www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/49783604
As the shadows are on the wrong side of the umbrellas, visitors were not expected at that time
