38 11 2019 From a 'glass button' in Photoshop Elements - basic components
This is in response to a comment made about the previous image. It shows how the basic elements were built up, using Photoshop Elements.. From there on it is about copying the shapes and forming them into layers, which are further distorted and recoloured. It is easier to do than describe!
Posterizing is about reducing the number of different colours and shades in an image.
Color gradients are sets of colours which, when applied, relate to the lightness or darkness rather than than the colour of the underlying shape.
When 'changing hue' one can change all the colours at the same time or pick individual colours and change them one at a time.
