This and the two following images are all basically the same. The colouring changes are created using the 'hue' slider in Photoshop Elements. What fascinates me is that it is not just the colours that change, but also the shading. Different areas go lighter or darker as the colours change. The third image has been turned from landscape to portrait orientation and that creates yet another look.
This image started as a Photoshop 'brush' or stamp which was a red circular shape with narrow bands running across it like a striped ball framework. This was distorted and the resulting empty shapes filled with colours from PSE's color gradient menus, each section on a separate layer, which were all then distorted again, combined into one layer, which was copied and again twisted around. It is a lot easier to do than to describe!
