Who muddled the paint swatches?

Who muddled the paint swatches?
A posterised version of a diamond colour gradient was chopped into three parallel bands of colour which were then individually recoloured. The three bands were then copied and the layers set at right angles, merged and copied. The copy was then distorted using the polar coordinates effect. A radial grad was used as a background, with a circular section copied and pasted on top using a different colour mix.

Ulrich Dinges, , John FitzGerald have particularly liked this photo

And it came out looking great. A harmonious mix of a wide range of colours. Well, the whole range.

Thanks, John. The colour choice is largely down to the presets in the 'color gradients'. The layer which I recoloured was the red base and that was done by shifting the colours of the next layer up en masse. Anyway I am glad it appealed.
