Stanmer Park - a walk in the woods 1.4.2016

Stanmer Park - a walk in the woods 1.4.2016
Two photos of tall bare trees - one just recoloured and the other more seriously messed about with in Photoshop Elements - superimposed on one another.

I was going to try to be analytical but Rainer has the best response. It's so magic that what you're seeing seems to change. And it changes from figurative to abstract and back.

The figurative layer was created by adjusting the contrast, colour and saturation. The more abstract layer was a portrait format photo of the same trees, given a wavy treatment, turned on its side and the centre 'twirled' by Photoshop Elements' 'distort'. Then again the colours and saturation were played with until a good effect was created. I hope this explanation doesn't detract from the 'magic'.
