Patterned sphere 09 & Seaford sunset
Four experiments using Media Militia patterned sphere 'brushes' and sunset or sunrise skies. I don't think that there is anywhere else to go with this, but it was fun playing around.

I like all four of these spheres, but this one really pops out. The colour helps, but the transition from light to dark and the checker(draughts)board help, too. Come to think of it, that's some round checkerboard.

I agree - this one definitely works the best. It's tempting to use it as a dart board, but come the first dart, that would be game over - after a satisfying 'pop'.
