An autumn afternoon on the A259 - Sussex - 2.11.2015

This was one of those days when the sun and the mist played hide-and-seek. The A259 is the main coast road running from Kent to Hampshire. Here it comes down Exceat Hill from Friston, to cross the Cuckmere valley on a causeway, which runs between the trees in the middle of the picture.
This is towards the eastern end of the South Downs National Park.
