Road narrows - more space needed - Newhaven - 15.4.2015
This photo was genuinely taken by mistake. My camera has been playing up and just shutting down unexpectedly. I was turning it off and on - always the first thing you do with 'technology' - and it came back on suddenly. The camera was pointing down as it 'fired', or what ever they call exposing a plate now, and there happened to be a temporary road sign lying face down beside the road. I started to look at it as a 'Geometric abstract' but it was a bit fuzzy and everything seems very sharp and clean in that group. so into Photoshop it went and came out like this!
The small versions of the obverse and the ESCC have been added to give the shape a bit more interest. ESCC would have stood for East Sussex County Council, if they had not contracted out road works. You can make up your own branding. Would the Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy have had info on road signs??!
Perhaps it's not the camera that's faulty. Perhaps I am quietly dementing. (spell-check doesn't think that is a word - who is mad now?)
