Not just a spotlight - is that someone offering Newhaven a hand up? Newhaven has now secured a new engineering college, with an emphasis on marine engineering, and a role as the support base for the off-shore Rampion wind farm. The local industrial estates also look much more lively recently, so perhaps someone really has given the town a hand-up.
