England at her best...with very busy stillness.
I particularly enjoyed seeing the variations of external finish to the buildings, which although different are in harmony together.

I am not sure of the age of this group of houses. Across the road is a development, built in the 1930s in the Tudor style, which is listed by English Heritage. I suspect that this group, which doesn't seem to be listed, is probably from the same period. So it is quaint, but designed to be so!
