It is always dangerous to look at the sunset and not turn around and see what is behind you.

The sentence 'It's behind you!' is taken from British pantomime tradition, when the hero or heroine is warned by shouts from the audience that something or someone evil is creeping up behind them - wolves, crocodiles fall into that category.
