Lynmouth
A scan of an old black & white print from my Grandfather's collection. The originals have been presented to the local records office for North Devon.
Rhenish Tower - Lynmouth. was originally built in the late 1850s by General Rawdon to store salt water to supply his house with sea baths. A light was later added as a beacon for local shipping. The current building is an exact replica, as the original, seen above, was destroyed in the disastrous floods in 1952
