Southern Coastway class 313 parked at Newhaven Marine Station on 7.3.2011

Southern Coastway class 313 parked at Newhaven Marine Station on 7.3.2011
Marine is used as sidings for trains terminating at Newhaven Harbour. I am told that there is often a set stabled here overnight.
Apologies to all those who were too polite to point out that I had called this 'Maritime' not 'Marine'.
Allegedly this use of Newhaven Marine is twofold - It is a 'Parliamentary' train, avoiding the need to declare the station closed, and is for route learning for drivers, in case the single line to Seaford is out of action and Marine is needed for holding trains terminating at Newhaven. Mind the Parliamentary train bit doesn't hold water as the public cannot travel into Marine.
