This delightful view reminded me of a wander I had down by the river off the Botley Road, where it runs beside a big allotment site and I took a photo of yellow apples, still on the tree in December, www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/28761323. As my mother who used to live further down the Botley Road is no longer with us, I don't expect to return to Oxford, but I used to enjoy wandering around its back streets and down by the rivers.
