Peach blossom

Peach blossom
This is an old tree... much of it is dead.. but there IS still life. Last year it set 8 Peaches.. the Racoons got them... but that is ok.. the blossom is enough for me.

EXPLORED !

Superb detail on this shot, Pam. In China, the farmers put the young fruit in plastic bags as it grows to keep the birds away. I wonder whether that would work for racoons. They are bright animals.

Thankyou esther !

They would just take the bags off ! BUT... I dont begrudge them at all. Its not like its my livlihood... and I understand the frustration if it were. They will have the Persimmons after the first frost... they will leave me some Pears. Live and let live., We are on their land ..... they have hard enough lives.
