Five Lined Skink 12 feet up on the tree stumps

Five Lined Skink 12 feet up on the tree stumps
I saw movement and there he was. I had to zoom in best I could and hold the camera above my head !

These "stumps" are about 14 feet high and the bark is separating from the trunk.... its a perfect stalking ground for prey for him.

In spite of the difficulties to capture them, your photograph is very good, Pam.
Have a nice Sunday, my friend.
It seems that it is the end of our five SUMMER days ... Still an impression of beautiful weather but there are too many mist clouds everywhere ...
Hugs to you and yours (:o)). How are they ?

I think I've seen these, too. They are so quick. This snag looks like a good home for them.

The stump has fallen now but I make Log Castles for the wildlife when that happens. They too disintegrate over time.. but its a natural habitat

Just saw this photo, Pam, and thought how lucky you were to get a photo! I saw my first and only one at Point Pelee back in May, but by the time I realized what I was seeing, it had vanished without a photo.
