The Moonflowers at dusk had a Privet Hawk Moth visit again

The Moonflowers at dusk had a Privet Hawk Moth visit again
These beautiful moths fold up so small and dive deep into the throat of the flower. The flowers are about 6 inches across.. so that gives scale to the moth !

She was taking turns with dozens of Bees and it was deep dusk.

Two more photos on the Notes at Top Left

Thanks Monica !! ... Honestly from what I read and hear no-one has much of anything this year. Some of the migrators have never made the trip North either. I know this does happen some years... a generation is missed... Hoping next year will see them back.
