@ Shari, yes definitely a weird prehistoric feeling to it. I've seen that odd solarisation and almost split toned effect a couple times before with exposures around 20 minutes. It's strange and I don't know why it happens -- and it doesn't always happen. Some late evening or dark gloomy day I should try one for an hour or two to see how far it will go...
