The contractors have now passed 462nd Ave.

The current "anchor" pole is #334 - the last original segment runs from pole #301 to #256 (the transition pole is #255), the last pole in this line before the steel 115 / 34.5kV monopole is #165. To illustrate how far the contractors have come along, the first pole to be sawed off was #621 (the East River tie switch counts as #622). The last 69kV pole along SD42 before turning north into the Canistota Jct sub is #654.

It IS amazing how fast they have gone in one month - #621 was wrecked out on July 19th.
