Here's another "phase by phase" 34.5 / 13.8kV substation to serve a school that was still on the 13.8kV system (the 13.8kV riser was the next pole on the left). Gotta love how the circuits are clearly identified (you may need to go to view original mode) - the 34.5kV circuits have the U-817 pin-posts while the 13.8kV phases still have the smaller sky-yuk bowls.
According to Jesse, these are fairly common across the Twin Cities - evidently Xcel is making a big push to get the heavily loaded 13.8kV lines up to 34.5kV.
