A long block of row houses, built in the 1860s as apartments for workers of John Russell Cutlery. The tenements originally had only cold water taps and outhouses. Some of the tenants kept pigs in the back yard. The block, which has recently been renovated, is still apartments.

From the bridge to The Patch. The smokestack on the right belonged to Keith Paper Co. The one on the left was Esleek Manufacturing Co., also a paper factory.
