On of the reasons I like photography so much is because of the memories it can bring back to us.......as in this case for you.

Do you play the organ yourself?

Dad was a very accomplished musician and I think the four of us were too much in awe to learn. We all loved music and luckily the musical genes were passed on to his grand and greatgrandkids.

One of my best memories is of him getting me to make sure the priest was gone before he launched into ragtime ...

I love the idea of ragtime being played on a church organ :-)). He sounds like a wonderful Dad..!!

I would think it would have been hand pumped originally

Oh yes and my youngest brother has never forgiven me for being younger enough that the organ was electrified before I was big enough to pump!!!!
