It was rather strange, we'd known for weeks they were going to do a proper job resurface, closing the A372/378 every evening for 10 days. I couldn't believe it when the challenge came through - this little lot were already dumped there!

Perfect, quite jumble of red things! I was on the lookout for something like this- no luck and our letterboxes are yellow....

P'raps they'll do a yellow challenge Gudrun ...

Already gone mate; they collected it all, bar the postbox, Friday night when the roadworks finished. Shame they didn't flatten the postbox with the huge diggers, scrapers, spreaders, hoppers, rollers etc., we could've had a nice brand new streamline pb.

It was an amazing sight tho', we popped out to watch when they were actually resurfacing it was fascinating - even LWD was spellbound.

I think you need to get out more Maggie :-)))
