The Hot Spot

The Hot Spot
During my working life I was often passing the entrance to RHS Rosemoor in North Devon and every time I did I promised myself I would visit; as the gardens are large I couldn't just pop in before or after work.

Finally, after five years of retirement, on this day in 2019 I got there. It did not disappoint. I picked this area to show because the hot colours are so redolent of a hot summer day.

(Totally unlike Somerset today; grey but not quite rainy.)

Oh I was taken there for a birthday treat a few years ago and it was such a fantastic place. It must lovely seeing it in the summer, it was winter time when I went. I only live a few miles from Rosemoor, in Bideford.

What is upsetting is no rain in Winter. Those Summer temperatures are normal and we are used to them, even if becoming older it is sometimes more tiring.
