♪♫ Count Basie - Corner Pocket 1962 ♪♫ I have been treasure hunting in my basement a few days ago and stumbled over a negative pouch with approximately 30 shots of a concert by the Basie Band given in Hamburg's Musikhalle. If memory serves the shots were taken with a Leica 3f and the Elmar 90/f4 (but I may be mistaken here) on an Agfa IF Rekord 32° (ISO 1250!!). I'm working on the personnel, left on the flute is Frank Wess and between the two trumpets we see the bald head of Marshall Royal and his alto sax. Next to Frank Wess is most likely Thad Jones. The other trumpet may be Joe Newman or Sonny Cohn. On the drums is Sonny Payne. Right of the solist group Frank Foster with his tenor sax.

Today we have been upgraded from ADSL (16Mbit/sec) to VDSL (50Mbit/sec) including IP-telephony and multiple lines. I had some serious concerns, however, it just took 20 minutes until I was online and the phones were working again. Piece of cake, day on the beach ;-))

What a mess. Tomorrow my online connection will be upgraded to VDSL, good opportunity to clean up the cabling under my desk. It's not yet done ...

...gibts doch! Links ein rechtsdrehender Würfel (selten, für Linkshänder, rechts der normale linksdrehende für Rechtshänder. Ehrlich! ;-)) Ich hab bei mir nur einen einzigen unter etwa 20 gefunden, aber Linkshänder sind ja auch seltener ;-) ------------------------------------------------ In fact there are right spin dice (left, rare for sinistrals ;-)) and left spin dice (right, the vast majority). I found only one right spin in 20 dice
