I understood you used cut and paste method on the sky. Well, my solution for next TSC shot is/was the good old gradient tool. Remember when photographers used 'graduated neutral-density filter' on front of the lens? These days it is so easy to do that on editor! =D

I still use those every now and then. Although I love the graded filter tool in Lightroom and use it a lot, it cannot recover burnt areas.

Yes, and that is why one should try to remember to take one landscape shot where exposure is taken from the sky. Digital sensors capture amazingly lot of details on dark areas, even on JPEG.
