I wasn't intending to use this image for my "Single in May" contribution but it was the only shot I took that day!

The pot is very small, no more than about 4cm across. The lithops older leaves are splitting and dying back revealing two new plants. Some years there is just one pair of new leaves inside.

I like the DOF in this image. Lithops, love it, had to look it up as not come across one before. Stone face fits perfectly :-)
