Single in May 2015 (K85 1.8)
Folder: Single in challenges
May 3rd: panorama of Ashwell
This is the view over Ashwell, N. Hertfordshire from the road to Newnham.
Stitched from images taken using a K-3 and an SMC Pentax 85mm f/1.8 lens.
May 2nd: Fallen Angel
My "Single in May" lens is going to be my SMC Pentax 85mm f/1.8. This battered angel was seen in Baldock churchyard. I gave it a heavy film-like edit in Lightroom 4.
May 7th: Gandhi and the dog
After missing a couple of days I went to my usual fall back location: Tavistock Square.

May 8th: My lithops is bifurcating
I wasn't intending to use this image for my "Single in May" contribution but it was the only shot I took that day!
The pot is very small, no more than about 4cm across. The lithops older leaves are splitting and dying back revealing two new plants. Some years there is just one pair of new leaves inside.

May 9th: Inside a tulip
We have some lovely giant tulips in the garden.
Pentax K-3, 85mm f/1.8 lens, 13mm extension tube.
May 11th: Pansy
I'm not sure whether to call this image "Optimism", "Determination" or "I will survive!" This pansy is growing through the tarmac in the car park...

May 12th: Waiting for the train
As I passed through King's Cross I grabbed a quick shot for today's image.

May 13th: hawthorn blossom
Taken on the walk from the bus to my house.

The clematis in our garden is particularly good this year.

May 17th: Pretty in pink
Took at few hours off to visit the 'open garden' at St Paul's Waldenbury, Hertfordshire. The rhododendrons were splendid. This is just one of them

I didn't post this image as part of the challenge, but it was taken as I was looking for images.
