combined 9 exposures. Fieldsize = 12.2 x 18.1 degree (note: Moon is about 0.5 degree). Tracked with a small telescope.
IC 4665 is an open starcluster, M14 and NGC 6366 are globular clusters, the labeled stars are part of the constellation Ophiuchus (Schlangenträger). Also given is the picture of 252P/Linear I made a week ago. The line that is visible is a passing satelite.

This comet passed the Earth at a distance of only 5 miljon km (a very rare event!) For more information see www.skyandtelescope.com/press-releases/how-to-spot-comet-252p-linear

All these features, but for the Hyades, were visible with the naked eye. Photographically I needed three different exposures to bring out the details, as a bonus I got the Hyades

Combination of a long (1/8 sec) and a short (1/500 sec) exposure. The area around Jupiter I "brightened up" a bit to show Jupiter's moons (the 4 major moons are all visible)

80 exposures combined. Used telescope to track the movement of the stars
A positive and a negative print to show why I sometimes prefer the negative one. It shows the faint features better (but also the disturbing light of the moon on the left)
