a globular starcluster belonging to "our" galaxy, containing 100.000 stars. This starcluster is in Northen Germany hard to photograph, it is in July/august close to the horizon.In northern Italy the chances are a bit beter photographed in Molveno with f=85 mm

Canon with wide angle lens. ISO 1600, 100xT=30 sec, f=10mm, f/3,5. The meteor showed up in two successive exposures (hence the gap). at the time that most of the Perseide meteors were expected I was clouded out.
