Cirrus nebula (view on black)

The Cirrus nebula in the contellation Cygnus is a supernova remnant (so the remnants of an exploded star). It is difficult to photograph because it is located in a very crowded region of our Milkyway. The lower treatment of the picture is an attempt to just show the structures of the supernova remnant. (I have left the bright star on the eastern rim)

With the aid of sophisticated filters it is possible to photograph Cirrus pure
