The main light is from the building on the shore, is this Buoy maintained by battery, it is only a small light at the top.

Sorry, Maurice. The lighthouse is not connected to the fairway buoy. The buoys are supplied from batteries, today from voltaic modules. The buoys mark the boundaries of the fairway, the lighthouse gives help for navigation.
