I love my dad! (not only because of this)

I love my dad! (not only because of this)
Meat roulade (filled with mustard, bacon, onion) with red cabbage, Brussels sprouts, dumplings and delicious sauce. Of course made by him, and delicious as usual.
Domino: Knife.

Ruebenkraut, , Sami Serola (inactive) have particularly liked this photo

looks delicious what meat did you use?

It was made by big sliced part out of cattle- "Oberschale" (sorry, I don´t know the english word for it - de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datei:Rind-Oberschale.png will show it (yes, this should symbolize a cattle, not a pig)).
You can read something about it for non-germans at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rouladen - it might be hard to find the meat prepared in this way at your region, in germany they are pretty common, but if you own a good knife you could do it yourself...
Maybe you want to take a look at www.ipernity.com/doc/kiezkicker/26827851 as well where you can see how they are prepared, and additionally in the comments was an recipe in english linked. :-) In www.ipernity.com/doc/kiezkicker/9751796 you can see "Rouladen" in side-view.

Thank you all.
Nylonbleu: Yes, my dad has to cook, his wife has Alzheimer´s - she can cook, too, but will forget if she had put this in already or not, so over the years the "cooking - job" switched to him, and he loves it.
And you can call this a traditional one, or so called plain fare. Mostly without Brussel Sprouts, but they are left so this time they are added as well.
