............add a liberal amount of alcohol, shake thoroughly and throw on the dance floor :)
I love this one - my lovely daughters, taken at my niece's wedding last weekend. I managed a few candid shots at the reception before the Jack Daniels kicked in. Luckily they'd hired a real photographer :)

My daughter and her children posing for the camera during their recent visit.
Note that Edie (age 9) has got my Nikon D300 with an old 18-55mm lens on it. She took around 200 photos, most of which were pretty good. I did manage to grab it back before she left though :)
I think I might have some competition on my hands.

I tried (and failed) to stop him eating chocolate buttons while he had his photo taken lol :)

As I haven't taken a single photo for a nearly a fortnight (work and decorating) I thought I'd add just one more family shot. This is my lovely daughter Kerry, who is notoriously difficult to photograph. Inevitably, I resort to candid shots......with sometimes amusing results.
Luckily, she has a wonderful sense of humour - just as well, 'cos I posted it on Facebook as well :)

Have a great weekend, whatever the weather and whatever you are doing!!
My wife, the photographer! For once she didn't realise I was taking a photo of her!

Not a selfie - this was taken by my lovely granddaughter Edie, who used my Oly OM-D EM-1 and my 40-150 f2.8 Pro lens. I can see I'll have to keep a close eye on my cameras and lenses whenever she comes to visit.

My oldest daughter hates having her photo taken, so when I get the chance I grab a candid. She actually likes this one!

We've had our family visiting this week and I've taken quite a few family snaps. I like this one so much that I've decided to share it. It was taken yesterday during an unexpected downpour at Langstone Harbour, where we had gone so our "grown up children" and our grandchildren could feed the ducks and swans. We had to take refuge under the huge parasols at the Ship Inn where we drank hot chocolate and played board games.
Thank heavens for Olympus weather-sealing!
