Taken in my garden I'm off today today for a short break in Exmouth, Devon. We're house-sitting for my daughter while she takes our grandchildren to Snowdonia. I may continue posting and commenting, but it will depend on what we're doing. Enjoy the week folks!

Taken in my front garden........the background is a wooden panel on the wall underneath our kitchen window, to which I've added a blue tint. The Agapanthus is in a large pot and has another 11 heads like this, all coming into flower. The bees love it! Thank you to everyone who has visited my photo-stream, especially those who have left a comment and/or a yellow star. Always appreciated :-) Have a lovely Friday............and a splendid weekend!

Taken during a recent visit to the Hayling Island Donkey Sanctuary,. It is a small local charity with around 27 donkeys, run by volunteers and funded by donations. They have regular open days and we try and go a couple of times each summer. We also sponsor a donkey each year, as a Christmas present for a family friend. The open days are free to attend, but a donation is asked for (only if you can afford it).........we generally donate bags of apples and carrots and the odd bale of hay and they love ginger biscuits :-)). They also do lovely coffee and cake in their small cafe..........wha's not to like? I took far too many shots to publish here, but there are three more in the PiPs if you fancy a look.

This colonnade and steps are all that is left of the mansion house that stood on this spot from around 1865 until it was demolished in 1959. Better viewed large, I think. There are two more views in the PiPs. Thanks for looking.

This was taken at the Heath Pond, Petersfield in Hampshire. This crow was stealing the food being fed to the ducks and had grabbed so many duck pellets that his crop was all swollen and it couldn't even fully close its beak! If you view large you can see the pellets in his beak, which he was unable to swallow :-))

I'm afraid I'm not sure what the flower is (possibly a variety of Dahlia)? If anyone knows I'd be grateful. Please view large if you have time.........thank you.
