With part of the walled garden in the foreground. I especially like the trees with the Mistletoe clumps in them.

Better viewed large, I think.

Beautiful composition; like the mistletoe clumps.
Must be a very old church I suppose.

Thank you Jaap, I'm pleased you like it. The church dates from Saxon times, but apparently was largely re0built in the 13th century.

Thank you Wilhelm, I'm pleased you like this shot. As I mentioned our visit was curtailed a bit by large areas being closed off due to the rain so my points of view had to be taken from the gravel and paved pathways that were still open.

I think this one worked out OK and I'm pleased you agree.

I favor the bony trees in the foreground. A beautiful piece of earth.

Thank you so much Stephan. The trees you like are all fruit trees which have been "trained" into various shapes. They are very old, but still provide lots of fruit.

Excellently composed! Without leaves one can appreciate the structures, this is what makes a well planned garden;-)

Thank you Gudrun..............It's a really beautiful walled garden, even at this time of year, it really comes to life in the summer months though.

A great capture of this beautiful old church the fruit trees look as though have been pruned for many years, I hope you are having a nice evening Keith

Amazing shot! It's surprising to notice the church reaches such a high level of camouflage!

Thanks very much Dimas.........glad you like it. There is a better, more open, view of the church but the area I needed to get too had been roped off to protect the grass from being trampled after the heavy rains.

Good of you to drop by and comment.
