Chinese Lanterns

Wow,das hat aber richtig toll dazu gepasst,dass sie etwas ramponiert waren lieber Keith,dieser Topf und diese Farben der verschiedenen Lampions kommen durch den Hintergrund großartig rüber,da hast du alles wieder richtig gewählt,dass mich wieder richtig begeistert hat lieber Keith,man sieht einfach,dass man aus Unscheinbaren immer was herausholt,es kommt nur auf die Zusammenstellung und Darstellung an,hast du super hinbekommen :))

A lovely still life Keith it doesn't matter if they are not in perfect condition that's life, do you have things scattered around the house that you might use for a photo one day ? or does she who must be obeyed complain :)) I don't have that problem, have you ever tried making a light box out of a cardboard box ( Google it )

I have a collections of different coloured card, paper and other materials to use for backgrounds and I pick up things whilst out walking that I think might be good to photograph indoors,. I also dig around in charity shops to see what I can find to photograph........and then re-donate it again when I'm finished.

Nothing is scattered around the house.........I have my own little corner of our living room for my desk, laptop, cameras and my "props" box. Most of the photography is done on the dining room table and sometimes in the garden on a folding table if the weather is suitable. I've never made a light box but I use an A4 sized LED panel sometimes, both as a background and as a light (mainly for macro work).

It all keeps my brain working and keeps me out of trouble :-))

The word “photography” literally means “drawing with light”. The word is derived from the Greek words phos,( meaning “light”, and graphê meaning “drawing or writing”.

This is really beautifully arranged. The background colour you have chosen adds to its beauty!
