Another image from Stansted Forest, Hampshire. There's been a lot of tree felling and planting in this area over the past year............hence the deep ruts in the pathway.

Your perspective is really nice Keith, and even better viewed large. The fallen leaves and the sky give great colour and the light and shadows are beautiful. A good pair of boots needed for the path and water filled ruts. It's my kind of walk though :-))

Thanks for your well thought out comments Rosa...........I'm very grateful. Definitely welly boot terrain at the moment, but it should dry up soon (I hope).

It was cloudy here today, but very warm and forecast to be a sunny weekend. Yay!!

As long as they are replacing the trees they're cutting down, with new trees that's okay. It's a great photo of the woodland, and after the rain that has visited this area, it's no surprise that there are puddles on the walkway.
