Emsworth Houses

Emsworth Houses
Some houses near the waterfront in Emsworth, Hampshire. The cream coloured one has been converted into a very popular restaurant called Fat Olives (which I've never eaten at). The rest are residential.

There are lots of lovely old buildings in this little town, so I've added a couple of PiPs: The first is of one of the local pubs (also a restaurant) called The Coal Exchange and the second is a better view of the last three houses in this main image. The road in all three images leads to the harbour.

Please excuse me for not cloning out any overhead wires (life is too short) :-)

Bonjour Keith. Je ne suis plus trop présent sur IP ces derniers temps faute de temps. Je pars la semaine prochaine à Madagascar avec une oNG pour terminer le travail humanitaire qui avait été interrompu en 2020 par la pandémie. Wirklich sehr hübsche Häuser, und alle in einem sehr guten Zustand!
Stromleitungen oder Telefonleitungen sind in Deutschland schon seit 50 Jahren unter der Erde. Aber manchmal ärgere ich mich über die Oberleitungen von Straßenbahnen.

Ok Keith..da es wirklich nicht nötig ist, die Oberleitungen wegzustempeln, haben wir genügend Zeit um erst ins Fat Olives zu gehen und dann noch eine Pint im Pub hinterher zu kippen :)))
