One of the most exotic autumn flowers, Keith. Very pretty especially with the weeds intertwining through.

They are gorgeous Keith! The name reminds me of a Victorian Music Hall actress!
I took a photo of some in the garden of Dunster Castle. I will upload it tomorrow with my "bench" picture :-)

I hope you're enjoying a sunny Sunday.

You might be thinking about The Jersey Lily (also known as Lillie Langtry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lillie_Langtry

Funnily enough I have a photo of a Jersey Lily to post in due course :-)

I just remembered the "Jersey lily", which was a nickname given to Lilllie Langtry, a British-American actress. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lillie_Langtry

Do you ever remember planting it, I asked because we had one a couple of years back, never knew where it came from or where it went. Beautiful lily indeed and well photographed.

I remember planting some in a pot a year or so ago, which only came up this year. These are about 10 feet away from the pot, and I definitely didn't plant any there. Who knows?

They remind me of some fascinating mushrooms that we here call devil's fingers and that have a deep rotten smell. These flowers are just as fascinating, although I imagine they smell better.
Wonderful pink bouquet.

Thanks Anton.............I'm pleased you like them. I think they are grown more for their colour than their fragrance.
