Happy Bench Monday everyone. I hope you all have an enjoyable week.

Thank you to those of you who have visited my photo-stream over the past week, especially if you have left a comment and/or a yellow star. Always appreciated!

This was taken up on Portsdown Hill, which is a chalk ridge that overlooks Portsmouth, Hampshire. There are quite a few viewpoints, picnic areas and quiet seating areas around.

Narvik 08, Aschi "Freestone", Dimas Sequeira, Jean Paul Capdeville and 16 other people have particularly liked this photo

Looks like it could be a great view from here Keith :) The rock gives a good foundation for this. ~ I always dither as to taking the bench or the view from the bench. Well done.

HBM, enjoy the day. Herb

Lovely natural surroundings for your bench and an extra perch in case it is needed. As Roger says the lichen on stone and bench is attractive and I like the feeling of movement in the grasses.

HBM and a lovely new week Keith

Ich vermute, dass man von dieser Bank aus einen schönen Blick in die Umgebung hat. Eine einladende Bank, schön präsentiert!

I don't know why, but I would be tempted to sit on the stone! A lovely shot Keith with beautiful detail of the grasses.

HBM and wish you a very good new week.

Thank you for all your lovely comments. Much appreciated as always!

I can confirm that the stone is much more comfortable than the bench to sit on (except for the lack of a back rest).

It does look cleaner than the bench - you'd get a green bum sitting on that!

Glad you like this one Maggie..........no apology needed :-)

The dusty surface says the bench hasn't been used lately! Belated HBM, Keith!
