It is a matter of taste. I like the way this is lit. But I do understand the reflections for example on the leaf does not please all.

So, in my opinion the light does not need to look "natural". Getting rid of hard shadows is a value itself ;-)

There are quite a few varieties Colin............they're quite slow moving and pretty easy to photograph. Don't get too close though - they're also called stink-bugs!
