Hay architecture. My mother's stepfather was British haystacking champion, by the way. And in Switzerland I've seen farm workers carrying loads of hay the size of a haystack on their backs.

Blimey! That's quite a haul. I'm guessing this wasn't a pitchfork job. The old fashioned oblong bales look so much nicer than the new round ones.

I'll huff and I'll puff ... not to much avail with this large stack! Great catch of the glorious golds this summer has brought. I especially like the "small" bales give a sense of scale to the stack. Beautifully done Keith.
