Varied Carpet Beetle on Pollen

Varied Carpet Beetle on Pollen
I have no idea why a Carpet Beetle would be found on flowers in my garden. I initially thought it was a variety of Ladybird. It's very pretty though!

, Susanne Hoy, Andy Rodker, Colin Ashcroft and 8 other people have particularly liked this photo

What a little beauty it is. Life must be getting tough for them now more people have wooden and laminate floors and fewer carpets.

I have just told Cheryl that her shot of it was of a bee-beetle. I know you are right and I'll have to go back and tell her!!!
Fine shot anyway!

Ha, ha............it took me ages to get an I.D. I originally assumed it was an obscure ladybird variety.

Glad you like it mate and thanks for stopping by!
