View from the first floor

View from the first floor
This is the view from my daughter's first floor flat in Exmouth taken through the double glazing. I find it fascinating and can spend ages just looking through the window. There is always something different to look at.

Andy Rodker, Christina Sonnenschein, , and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

It's a very interesting shot, so much to pick out. I like the sunflowers down in the corner :-))
I hope you have a great weekend.

Keith, I agree with you about staring out on a scene like this, always so fascinating!! Great picture too, fun to look at everything going on!

I detest the greasy undertones of places like Las Vegas, but if you've never been, it's worth going so you can sit and just WATCH. I like to find a very busy thoroughfare where I can have a meal with a perfect vantage point and then just watch the parade. Incredible...the people from all walks of life, in all manner of dress, in all states of sanity, it's just amazing to behold!!

Thanks for your thoughtful and generous comments Janet. I've never been to Las Vegas, but I know what you mean about people watching.......I do it all the time!

A lot of detail and colour here in this busy image. A most interesting creation Keith....from this unfamiliar part of Exmouth..

Thanks. This is an area of Exmouth known as the Colonies.

Thank you for taking the time to explain Keith.
....and not a Colonial flag in sight ;-)

Your welcome. No idea why it's called the Colonies - but I suspect it was once a derogatory term for the "less posh" area.
