View from the first floor

View from the first floor
This is the view from my daughter's first floor flat in Exmouth taken through the double glazing. I find it fascinating and can spend ages just looking through the window. There is always something different to look at.

How nice. the sunflowers are a great touch (as is the washing in the one in the comments box.)

You could almost do a 365 of this view alone - the different washing, sunshades up or down, variying flowers throughout the summer.

Thanks Judith - glad you like it.

Well spotted.......there's been a couple of shed changes lol :). I wouldn't be able to do a 365 though, unless I moved house.

Keith, I agree with you about staring out on a scene like this, always so fascinating!! Great picture too, fun to look at everything going on!

I detest the greasy undertones of places like Las Vegas, but if you've never been, it's worth going so you can sit and just WATCH. I like to find a very busy thoroughfare where I can have a meal with a perfect vantage point and then just watch the parade. Incredible...the people from all walks of life, in all manner of dress, in all states of sanity, it's just amazing to behold!!

I love Las Vegas just for people watching. I'm not a gambler but love Vegas, it's a city larger than life.

Thanks for your thoughtful and generous comments Janet. I've never been to Las Vegas, but I know what you mean about people watching.......I do it all the time!

Great and interesting view..especially if you are a bit nosy like me!....One of the things I like in the boat is cruising past the bottom of peoples gardens and having a good peer in!..Like the washing in the 2nd one!

A lot of detail and colour here in this busy image. A most interesting creation Keith....from this unfamiliar part of Exmouth..

Thanks. This is an area of Exmouth known as the Colonies.

Thank you for taking the time to explain Keith.
....and not a Colonial flag in sight ;-)

Keith Burton has replied to Polyrus
Your welcome. No idea why it's called the Colonies - but I suspect it was once a derogatory term for the "less posh" area.

An excellent example of an urban scenic! People often look beyond such settings because they take them for granted, well done Keith!
