Feuersalamanderfamilientreffen

Thank you for this delightful picture, Karl. Did you know that about eight years ago I caught a baby California Mountain King Snake on our property in the late fall? I worried that because he was so tiny (8-9" and the diameter of my pinky finger!), he would not survive the winter so I took him home and Steve and I have cared for him ever since. Snakey McSnakerton is now a full-sized beauty at 4 feet and 100% incredible!!
I took a picture of him for a b/w challenge not long ago: www.ipernity.com/doc/290645/48453794
But if you want to see lots of pictures, go to this one and roll your mouse over all of the insets! :) Isn't he amazing?! We love our Snakey! :)
